Scott Palazzolo, LMSW
FOUNDER & THERAPIST
Hi there!
My name is Scott, and I’m glad you took the initial step to look into therapy.
I recognize that even looking into therapy can feel like a big step. It can bring up uncertainty, nervousness, hope, or even skepticism. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you reach out. Wherever you are, my goal is to meet you there with curiosity, compassion, and without judgment.
There can sometimes be a sense that therapists have special powers to fix or cure people. While I bring training, experience, and skills to our work, I don’t see myself as someone who is here to “fix” you. I think of myself more as a guide and fellow traveler as you navigate the difficult parts of life.
At the heart of my work is the belief that people already have within them strength, courage, clarity, and the capacity for change. Sometimes those things just become hard to access.
I think of it like the sun behind the clouds. Even when the sky is dark, we know the sun is still there. Our strengths can become hidden by pain, stress, or difficult experiences, but they haven’t disappeared.
My approach is humanizing, compassionate, and relational. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Compassion-Focused Therapy, and family systems approaches.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive training and experience working with individuals, couples, and families.
Above all, I hope to create a space where you feel welcomed, understood, and able to show up as you are.
